What's a drone?

-Drones or UAVs by any other name have in the near past been winged vessels piloted by remote. Today a breakthrough of 'copter' proportions have added a new features. These include stabilization. A vehicle, requiring no occupant, which can remain airborne without the need for movement and winged air bouyancy.

 First used for anti-aircraft target practice, intelligence gathering and then, weapon.
